VINOD AND MRINALINI 

EPISODE 4:

They went to the manager straight, showed him the photo and asked him that they wanted to meet the particular woman. Till she came, the manager Shambu Sarkar gave her details, "She is Meera. She came here nineteen years ago. She is a great devotee of Lord Shiva. She is a woman of few words. After completing all her chores very early in the morning, she offers her pooja to Lord Shiva and in the evenings sings bhajans along with the bhajan group. She is from Chennai. That's all she said about her past." Then she came. As soon as the sisters saw her face, they recognized her face. They said it was their long lost mother, Shakuntala. She refused to be called Shakuntala. But still had tears⁷ trickling down her eyes. The sisters were enraged as she refused to recognize them. "My mother was there with us till I was five years old. At night we all slept together. But when we woke up in the morning, she was not there. We searched everywhere, even lodged a missing complaint with the police, but we couldn't trace her. Slowly we learned to live without her. My both grandmothers came to stay with us. As time passed, Manjudidi studied nursing and I pursued Chemistry" explained Mrinalini. Then they arranged for a DNA test of the woman. And to the horror of everyone over there the test results were positive. She was their biological mother. Then amidst a crowd of relatives, she narrated her story, "When Mrinalini was three years old, I started visiting the Lord  Shiva temple, one hour by road distance from our house. There nearly after three months, I met a fellow devotee Ramachandran. Both of us fell in love. He was handsome and very very rich. He took me around the city in his Mercedes. There were servants available at his beck and call. Lord Shiva was the first passion that we connected on. Within two months of our meeting, we developed physical relations. I became his daasi. He then said to me that he had to go to Mumbai on some work. He would be back after one week. He went and came back. When he came back he accepted before me that he had got married to a rich businessman's daughter, but loved me only. I believed that. Our sexual relations also continued. After six months, he stopped coming to the temple. So when he didn't call me for three days at a stretch, I gathered the courage and went to his palatial house in the city. The watchman didn't allow me in. He then listened to my story patiently and with a mocking smile on his face called up Ramachandran. He spoke to me on the phone. He said that he had broken up with me since he was on the family way. He said that he no longer wanted to see my face and was very serious about it. He also added that if I ever showed him my devilish face or rotten vagina, he'll straightaway put acid into it. I tried all the types of lying, crying and also promised him sex without asking any questions. Right at that time, the call got cut.
