VINOD AND MRINALINI 

EPISODE 6:

     The search operations were intensified. Finally the NSW police force got information that a complaint was registered with a countyside far off police station that a woman was rescued a week ago from the sea, but she was not speaking anything. The nearby hospital treated her. The doctors over there said that, she was in a state of shock so she was not speaking anything. Very recently now, she was using sign language and conveying basic things. Vinod was informed about this. He rushed to meet her. And after reaching there, tears welled through his eyes when he saw the woman. It was indeed his cousin Vinita. Seeing him, she started crying. He immediately did a video call to her mother. She spoke to her very emotional mother and father. The next day, her parents reached Sydney. Vinod heaved a sigh of relief. One week later, Vinod and his uncle and aunt returned back to India. Only with a promise that in the remaining one year of her fashion designing studies, she'll never go to any outing, did her parents allow her to stay back in the foreign country.
     Deepak's brother Devesh had not passed in the CAT exams. Their father, gave him a piece of his mind and his mother sent him to stay with his brother, because otherwise his dad would kill him there. He had a mad addiction of prostitutes, about which his father had no knowledge.
     Even in his brother's house, Devesh used to disappear after 9pm. When Shweta asked him where he was during the night, he simply lied to her that he was just hanging out with his friends. Four months passed, then suddenly at 12:30 midnight, Deepak's mobile rang. He picked up the call, and talked on the mobile. His expressions changed from sleepy to very tense. Hearing him talk, Shweta also woke up. On asking he said, "Devesh has been caught by the police when they conducted a raid at a third grade hotel. He was caught with a low grade prostitute. It was a call from the police station. I'm going to the police station." Both Deepak and Shweta reached the police station. The elder brother complied with the police and brought his brother out.
     Four months later, Deepak's house
doorbell rang at 3 am. Shweta woke up with difficulty, as her deep sleep was disturbed. As soon as she opened the door, to her shock she saw three policemen at the door step. "Where is Devesh Pradhan ?" the police constable asked. "He is inside. Right now he is sleeping in his room. "Why ? Has he done something ?" asked a concerned and very tense Shweta. "Two murders have taken place. We need to interrogate him regarding these. Tell him to come out or should we come in ?" said the police constable rudely. She went inside, woke Devesh up. The police constable followed her into Devesh's room. He held a sleeping Devesh's collar and very rudely woke him up. He was taken to the police station. Then a very tense Shweta, woke her husband up. He was startled. He and Shweta went to the police station. As the police man explained the case to them, both of them raptly listened. Just as he finished narrating the matter to him, Devesh's parents reached there.

His excitement, expectations and dedication was so much into it. Mrinalini also of course wanted to attend the show. But Vinod's anxiety was so much, that he didn't sleep at all the entire night. He was sure that this would be the best, the indian fashion industry has seen ever. Mrinalini didn't set up the morning alarm as she had taken leave that day. Even Mrinalini's look and saree was specially designed by her husband. She had of course overslept. And Vinod had a hot cup of coffee, set his mobile to 'gayatri mantra' and drove to his show venue.
