VINOD AND MRINALINI 

EPISODE 9:

It was time for the ace designer's ramp show. His excitement, expectations and dedication was so much into it. Mrinalini also of course wanted to attend the show. But Vinod's anxiety was so much, that he didn't sleep at all the entire night. He was sure that this would be the best, the indian fashion industry has seen ever. Mrinalini didn't set up the morning alarm as she had taken leave that day. Even Mrinalini's look and saree was specially designed by her husband. She had of course overslept. And Vinod had a hot cup of coffee, set his mobile to 'gayatri mantra' and drove to his show venue. He himself opened the shutters, went inside and opened the iron door, he switched on the light and was SHOCKED. THE CLOTHES FOR THE SHOW HAD BECOME FULLY WET AND THERE WERE SMALL BLACK SPOTS, LOOKING VERY PROMINENTLY ALL OVER THEM. THIS WAS BECAUSE WATER HAD LEAKED FROM THE CEILING. Just then three members of his team came there and SAW what had happened. They could themselves judge the height of the losses that had happened to the company. There was no other alternative other than canceling the highly anticipated show. The invitations were already sent to the whose who of the fashion world. The assistant Teena whose job profile was to take care of the outfits for the D-day, immediately went to the upper floor to check exactly how it had happened. She got the information that the entire first floor was going to be a plush restaurant. Their interior designer wanted to change the flooring. That work was taking place all throughout the night and day. There were multiple labourers slogging tirelessly over there, basically because the new owner wanted to inaugurate the restaurant at a very short notice. She came to the ground floor again and saw that Mrinalini had reached the showroom. Teena said in a very concerned tone to Mrinalini that, "Even if the water seeped through the ceiling, I can't understand how it reached the outfits. The outfits were in plastic coverings. They were all zipped up over there." Vinod heard this and went to her and said with a scary look on his face, "This is because the water can very easily seep through the zip also. And YOU'RE FIRED". Tears started flowing through her cheeks and she immediately left the place. Vinod cancelled the show. He spoke nothing, just continously tears were flowing through his eyes. He didn't have dinner. Mrinalini called up his mother. She explained about the massive loss that happened to the company and that Vinod was very tense. Then she handed over the phone to him. Flight tickets were  arranged for both of them to go to Chennai. First thing, nice two mugs of hot coffee was given to both of them. Then they decided to go to the Ganesh temple. They sat in the car. Mrinalini drove the car. After covering some distance, the car stopped at the signal. Right out of the window, he could see a big banner of a very reputed and famous dance school. He could read the meticulous details given over there.
