VINOD AND MRINALINI 

EPISODE 10:

The next day, he without informing anyone at home, went to the dance academy and took admission over there. He came back home and explained to Mrinalini that it was his decision to stay with his parents for the next one year. He wanted to go to dance class as it is a very good stress buster. If he were to come back to Mumbai right now, because of the huge monetary loss and humiliation, he would surely go insane. Mrinalini agreed and also said that she would send money to him every month. After a week, Mrinalini
left for Mumbai to continue with her PhD.
     One year passed. Then it was his mom's birthday.  So Mrinalini called up her ma-in-law. She informed her ma-in-law that she had finished her doctorate and landed a highly reputed job as the HOD(head of the department) Chemistry in Mumbai University. Her ma-in-law very happily congratulated her. The next day, as Mrinalini returned home from work, she to her amazement saw that the entire house was spic and span and on the coffee/tea table was kept a big box. She very curiously opened it. There were four folders in it. As she opened each folder, she saw very beautifully colored dress designs. She was so happy that, tears trickled through her eyes. Just then Vinod entered the room from their bedroom. He looked very happy. He said, "I will be restarting the design studio, the sketches are already done, like you have already seen. From tomorrow onwards I will be back to what I once happened to be. I've already spoken to Neerja and Mitali. They were also very happy. Isn't it good news ? And yeah I have prepared your favourite chole bhature. I've called Deepak and Shweta also for the treat... Mrinalini... you look beautiful when you're happy... I mean overjoyed is the word." Mrinalini wiped her tears of joy and just hugged her husband very tightly. He too hugged her back with a broad smile.

His excitement, expectations and dedication was so much into it. Mrinalini also of course wanted to attend the show. But Vinod's anxiety was so much, that he didn't sleep at all the entire night. He was sure that this would be the best, the indian fashion industry has seen ever. Mrinalini didn't set up the morning alarm as she had taken leave that day.
